Bart's Cycling Scribes 霸特單車遊記: January 8, 2017. Short 10 km in Cakovice's snow

There was more snow yesterday night which resulted in this pack of snow. Because of that reason and of course yesterday's century ride, I did not embark on a long mission. Instead, I explored Cakovice in snow.

I did not cycle that far but I took some clips, pictures and enjoyed to see my block on full white

I went to the offroad path were I like to go running. It was fully covered in snow

I cycled along the line I remembered from running, which led into a small forest.

Compared to yesterday it was fairly warm. It was only minus eight haha

This is the little forest path through which I came. It was lovely to ride this in the snow.

Many people were waking, ice skating, playing etc. here.

Then I decided to visit the other offroad section which goes outside of Cakovice. It runs in between two fields.

Here, I again started recording. In this section I had to focus on keeping balance. It was quite difficult and there was a lot of resistance.

The reason I took this picture is because after 3-4 min I got stuck in the snow. There was a section were I could not keep balance. I could not even see the road here.

This is at the top of the little hill. Downhill was worse, there was so much snow that I did not get to cycle a lot. I walked to the road.

From here I went left to Praha Treboradice

There is really a lot of snow here

For the first time ever, I went int that small road next to the main road. I had never done it before. But now I see it runs parallel and that it would be a great alternative during a run.
