August 26, 2016: Preparations for my third BE CZ ride
During my two weeks vacation I first visited mom in Bratislava, then drove home, spent one week with the family and then cycled back to Prague.
Before I could proceed I needed to build up my rim brake Roubaix. I had a frame and wheelset, a few other parts as well. For the rest I relied on the bike shop. The bike was ready on 26/8.
like a little school girl I immediately went to the shop. I paid 300 eur for all.
Freshly assembled Roubaix
With Praxis Turn Zayante 52/34 crank
My dura ace 11-28 cassette which I had spare
2014 sw roubaix frame
With Dura Ace rim brakes
I upgraded these in March before buying disc frame
Xt pedals, perfect for walking and moving
Very simple alloy cockpit
It looked very nice and ready for the long ride
Except for this rear tire which needed to be changed
At home, I took it out for a very short 10 km test ride. Just to double check
REUSTRAAT in my hometown
