April 16, 2016: Rain and grey weather in my last weekend before the Belgium ride

This was the last weekend before my big ride to Belgium, but the weather was very bad. It looked promising in the morning so I planned a 100 km ride with my flatbar. Unfortunately, it did not take long before I had to abort mission and head back

I revisited this annoying lane next to the freeway, at some 20 km from Cakovice. It was still a crappy road. Remember to never ride here again.

The skies were grey and the rain did not keep me waiting for long

It seemed fine for a short 100 km ride

Too bad it started raining, and it rained pretty hard. I dodged the rain under this bridge, but it kept pouring. This was 33 km from home

I decided to just head back to Cakovice and call it a day. Taking a bit of rest prior to my big trip next week is not a bad thing

The weather had been unstable for the last two weeks, genuine spring downpours

Overcast skies

I was getting wet...

Too bad for today...

Riding my Sirrus bike outside of Prague. Good thing it has disc brakes.

Then it stopped raining strangely enough

I guess this was a moment in between showers

Some videoreports while we are out here

Celakovice, 15 km away from home

Less than 10 km from home it started to get sunny. Fuck this, I was already going back home

Nice picture to be honest

At least I did something today... I will compensate next week when I will do 1000 km in 4 days...
