週六的相片,本來打算破兩百這冰天雪地的捷克只讓我騎四十公里。還好下午還是跑了有殺氣的二十公里
Not much to say about this ride: I left with the intention of cycling all the way to Cesky Krumlov in Suothern Czechia. For fifteen km, I actually believed this was going to happen. But as soon as I got south from Prague, I realized how idle my thing was. Ain't no such thing as a blockbuster road bike ride in the Czech winter.
Impossible to cycle like this! Abort mission and retreat
I was just walking here because it was too slippery
A Czech winter full of cyclo setbacks if you ask me
This was an ascent, but the road was full of ice. I walked the whole thing. I also cancelled my hotel here. Daylight was coming and the views were nice though.
Impossible to ride here! This has now happened for two consecutive weeks. I am starting to have had enough of this harsh winter. I hear the north pole's ice caps are melting, which causes glacial winds to hit Europe, which then again results in this madness.
Minus 5.5 Celsius. It was even -7.2 when I got home. Crazy temperatures
I decided to give up on the ride and just take some nice pictures for the album
Behind glass, this does look charming
My SW Roubaix in the land of snow. Not quite like Taiwan I would say
One more month boy, and you will be getting all the mileage you long for!
I decided to go back home by only riding on bigger roads. It caused my GPS to rebel for a while but I made it.
Bartman's subzero outfit
Good thing that after walking to the end of this road, there was a larger road which led back to Prague. I rode about 40km here.
Back at home I decided I should do something, so I went running. I did a cool 20km in a minus eight degree setting. All the field roads were covered in ice, so I basically ran to Brazdim and Stara Boleslav and back home. That was exactly 20,4km. Feel free to check out my activity here:
