December 29, 2015: Testing my new MTB 700x45 Nimbus tires during a 27km night ride

I brought back my new pair of tires from Belgium. Unfortunately they were extremely difficult to get on the rim and it even cost me two inner tires before I got it right. Eventually the bike was all set up and I wanted to check out how they ride. So I had my GPS program a 20km tour outside of Prague to have a quick experience.

My two bikes in Prague, Czech Republic

Specialized Nimbus 700x45, a wonderful tire for road on MTB. I used to ride a Nimbus 32mm back in Taiwan. It was rock solid! It did not give me a single twist in 3500km.

Rear view of my bike. Looking fancy with these beefy road tires

A view right in front of my doorstep. Now let's hit the road

Let's see how these new tires feel...

It's that joyful time of the year again, full of Christmas trees and joy

A small park near my house

Train station

Leaving the city of Prague...

GPS data, just a round trip this time

Shrewd in darkness, black as far as the eye can reach

I made a movie clip here

Hezky Vanoce everybody

Not all of these pictures were a succes

There was a longer climb here of 8%. Need to come back here!

Agip gas station, I was riding along the freeway, not ON it

The entrance to a castle

Too dark to be clear

This was the best I could get of that castle

Heading back to Prague, that was 14km indeed. Further than I thought.

More pitch black roads

 I like this picture tbh

I was sent through a blocked road. Riding a bike is so much fun

I like passing through zones where cars cannot come

More darkness

Almost home, this section had too many cross sections for bicycles
